A Wealth of Viewing and Listening on YouTube.
Within the past few months, several videos have been posted on YouTube. The videos listed below deal with some aspects of the Catholic charismatic renewal. Most of them were apparently posted by a member of the Southern California Renewal Center (SCRC). Especially noteworthy are a series of talks by Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa. As with most videos on YouTube, the talks are ten minutes or less in length. As a result, most of the talks act as "teasers or trailers" for the full version of the talk available for a nominal fee on CDs or DVDs at the SCRC site. Simply click on the underlined text, below, to link to the Youtube video.
Charles Whitehead... talks about the run-up to the 1998 gathering of the renewal groups in Rome. The talk ends abruptly before Charles can give the punchline. This talk mentions that some people in the Holy See's office, even as late as the 1990's, didn't get it. One of the planners of the 1998 gathering of charismatic groups still thought of the CCR as a "movement" in the Catholic church. Charles did his best to correct this impression and, as a result, was turned away from a banquet.

I'm right now listening to the first youtube video from Charles Whitehead, and what I loved is the fact he said he loves the Focolare Moviment lol and I also love and and am part of it  too |
